Hi there! I’m Kelli and I blog over at eatprayreadlove.com. I love meeting new friends, so I hope you’ll stop by and say hi! Today I’m going to show you how to do a really simple craft – and you probably already have all the supplies on hand. You’ll need:
—>a jar or bottle (at least 8 inches tall is preferable)
—> hot glue gun
—> ribbon
—> raffia
—> and a charm, if desired
Take an old jar or bottle – I used olive oil. I didn’t even take off the wrapper completely.
In those famous words, ain’t nobody got time for that.
Begin with a dot of hot glue at the bottom of the jar.
On the first layer, go completely around the bottom of the jar.
Then, wrap the ribbon all the way up the jar to the neck, slightly overlapping each layer.
//
When you get to where to bottle narrows, glue the ribbon all the way around.
Cut off the excess ribbon.
Begin wrapping raffia around the neck of the jar.
Continue wrapping until the neck of the jar is covered with raffia.
If desired, add ribbon with a charm around the neck.
Add flowers and enjoy your creation- or even better- give it as a gift!
