Dress your steaks to impress with one of five mouthwatering marinades and rubs. Rub or marinade tender cuts of steak and sear them on a hot broiler pan, frying pan or grill. Serve with baked potatoes, vegetables, and beer or red wine for the ultimate meal.
Marjoram and Garlic:
- ¼-cup soy sauce
- 1/4 –teaspoon ground pepper
- 1-tablepoon marjoram
- ½-teaspoon garlic powder
Spicy Chili Peppers:
- 1-tablespoon anjo chili powder
- ½-teaspoon garlic powder
- 1-tablepoon rice wine vinegar
- Dash sea salt
- Dash cayenne pepper – optional
Peanut Lovers:
- ¼-cup peanut butter (without hydrogenated oil or other additives)
- 2-tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ¼-teaspoon ground pepper
- ½-teaspoon onion powder
- ½-teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼-teaspoon course sea salt
- ¼-teaspoon ground thyme
Poultry Herb Blend:
- 1-tablepoon poultry seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½-teaspoon onion powder
- ¼-teaspoon sea salt
- 2-tablepoons apple cider vinegar
Rosemary and Thyme:
- 1-teaspoon dried or 2-teapoons fresh chopped:
- rosemary leaves
- thyme
- garlic
- onion
- 1-tablespoon vinegar
Directions:
- Choose one of the above recipes and mix thoroughly in a bowl.
- Rub on frozen or freshly thawed steak of your choice. Alternatively, marinate overnight by adding a little extra water.
- Place on searing hot broiler tray, frying pan, or grill and cook to suite personal taste.
