My kids' favorite soda - Sierra Mist Natural uses only real ingredients!
When I had the chance to participate in a Sierra Mist Cocktail or Mocktail holiday campaign I was excited. Sierra Mist is one of the few soda pops I let my kids drink as a treat because it is made with real sugar (no artificial ingredients) and has 100% natural flavoring. I thought I would post the first post with mocktail recipes still pregnant, and the second post with cocktail recipes after the baby was born.
Then Vivian surprised us by arriving nearly two weeks early!
So my husband and I celebrated her one-week birthday with a toast of a Sierra Mist cocktail recipe appropriately named “Meet me Under the Mistletoe”. That may or may not be how this whole adventure started in the first place! *ahem*

Our delicious, Atoka-version of the Meet Me at the Mistletoe Sierra Mist Martini
* Apparently in addition to things like a dry cleaners, Atoka, OK does not have fresh basil or blueberry juice anywhere in town. At least not in December. I used strawberry-orange juice and ungarnished glasses, although if I’d thought about using mint instead of basil I think that would be a nice substitution as well.
I would like to try this recipe with blueberry juice in the future, but I thought the strawberry-orange was really nice. Sidney and I had fun making these – he had some James Bond jokes to add while shaking the drink of course. I added more Sierra Mist to mine than the recipe called for and liked the way that turned out a lot.
The other Sierra Mist Cocktail recipe I am sharing this week is called Frost Bite.
Ingredients:
- 3 oz. Sierra Mist Natural
- 1 oz Blue Curacao
- 1 oz. Coconut Vodka
- Fresh Mint
- 1 oz Pineapple juice
- Fresh blueberries (optional)
Directions:
- In an ice-filled shaker, mix coconut vodka and pineapple juice.
- Add blue curacao, fresh mint and blueberries (optional).
- Shake all ingredients well and strain into a large glass filled with ice.
- Top with Sierra Mist Natural
- Garnish with fresh blueberries for a holiday twist (optional)

Meanwhile – are you a Frost Bite or a Meet Me at the Mistletoe? What will you be celebrating this holiday season?
Happy one-week birthday, Vivian!
We’re so glad you’re here. You are the toast of this family!
This post is part of a sponsored campaign with Sierra Mist and I was sent the mixing set and compensation for time and ingredients. My town really doesn’t have basil leaves in our (one) grocery store though. Small town life, eh?
I couldn’t find raspberry juice here, yep another small town, oddly though there was ,cherry juice. Next time I will definitely try mint instead of basil.
These look yummy!
