One of the things that is most frustrating to me is having to carry a purse large enough for kid items, only to then lose any of my little cosmetics, my phone and other important items. Joey Junior made organizing and reaching my purse contents much easier.
What is The Joey Junior?
The Joey Junior is a flexible purse organizer that easily wraps around to fit inside any purse, diaper bag or tote bag. The organizers come in a variety of colors and styles, as well as two different sizes, and they have built in pockets that make it easy to access the items you need without digging about.
<h4″>Using the Joey Junior for Home and Travel
I received my Joey Junior to review right before leaving to speak at Blissdom 2010 so that I had a chance to test it out not only in my home purse, but also while traveling. Since I was flying, I carried on all my items, which means I had a large tote bag to carry not only my wallet and ID, but also my laptop and snacks, plus my regular “purse” items like cosmetics, gum and business cards. This is when I realize how handy the Joey Junior really could be.
Taming a Large Bag by Keeping Necessities Close at Hand
My tote bag was large enough to hold my laptop, and the Joey Junior perfectly wrapped around the laptop, leaving the bottom of the bag empty for my laptop to settle nicely, while still providing me access to everything I needed while traveling. Gum, business cards, pens, notebook, cell phone and chargers were easily stashed into the pockets of the Joey Junior so that I could reach everything I needed quickly and easily. It was so handy.
Moving Items From One Purse to Another
Once I returned home, I just pulled the entire Joey Junior unit out of my tote bag, took out the items I didn’t need in my purse any longer, and plunked the whole thing into my new purse. Viola!
Instantly, my cosmetics, gum and travel notebook were in my new purse without having to deal with the hassle of cleaning, sorting, hunting for and tracking down the things I needed in my purse. I could easily repeat the process to put the Joey Junior into a diaper bag or stroller pocket and minimize the number of bags I need to take on an outing with the family, as well!
Future Improvements I’d Like to See
If I could suggest one improvement for the Joey Junior, I think I would want at least one pouch to have the option to zip closed. I did keep cash in my wallet beside the Joey Junior, for example, whereas I may have left my bulkier wallet at home while traveling if I thought I could safely stash the money more securely in a zipper pouch. As it was, I just used the snap to tether my wallet to the Joey Junior so that they were secured together.
Otherwise, the material is easily cleaned (a must!), the organizer useful and the entire product-line is reasonably priced. I feel like this would be a great gift item for new bride, a baby shower (especially for a second or third baby where parents might have most “baby items” already), or high school graduate getting ready for college.
