Spring means strawberries as the first, sweet fruit begins to ripen in late April or early May for many areas of the country, and then some types continue producing for weeks after that.
The beauty of strawberries is that, for a small-space gardener, they are a fruit that can be grown in limited spaces, whether you’re using a tiered strawberry planter like the one I built, or hanging baskets is Julie shows us in today’s Eating Garden Fresh post.
