When I found out about Skylar Luna’s organic sleep clothes for kids, I starred the email to follow up after the holidays. I’ve been looking for the perfect opportunity to convert our household to organic and fair-trade clothing for quite some time now. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to review the Skylar Luna sleepwear with my two girls, Brianna and Vivian.
My girls love to wear matching clothes even though they are not twins, but their age difference makes it difficult. Skylar Luna offers organic pajamas in sizes 12 months-12 years depending on the style choice. Brianna was so excited to be able to pick a pair of pajamas that we could get in a size for Vivian also. I’m not surprised they chose the pretty butterfly print. They both love butterflies, so it made sense.
Skylar Luna sleep wear is eco-friendly. The material is 100% organic cotton and is also free of fire-retardant chemicals. My kids have actually broken out to chemicals in clothing we’ve purchased in the past, so I had developed the habit of laundering new clothing twice before letting my kids wear it. The packaging is also eco-friendly. The clothes came in linen bags instead of plastic wrappers, and the girls thought it was cool how the tags showed the size and style of the pajamas.
The PJs are comfortable, easy-wearing, and did not shrink or warp when they were washed. I felt like singing the Hallelujah chorus.
There are short sleeve and long sleeve tops, and we selected the short sleeve tops. For bottoms, there is an option of shorts or long pants. We chose the short-top/long-bottoms option…I adore long PJ bottoms with sweet baby feet. Adore. (And at a $34 price point – very reasonable.)
The Skylar Luna pajamas were soft enough for snuggling.
Comfortable enough for lounging.
I’m super pleased with the softness and flexibility of the pajamas. The stitching is sound and construction is brilliant. Fits well without pinching or itching. And being able to have the peace of mind from the social good and earth-friendly aspects of Skylar Luna is amazing. Healthier for the earth. Healthier for my kids. It’s a total win/win.
What steps are you taking this year to improve your family’s total health?
Disclosure – Skylar Luna sent me these two pajamas for review purposes. All photos and opinions are my own. This is the year we switch what goes ON our bodies to healthier options as well, and we’re off to a good start!

Great review! I’m always on the lookout for organic clothes for kids. Especially older kids! They seem to have a really good selection to choose from as well.

Those looks so cozy! I love that the tags aren’t that scratchy stuff most places use. We always need new jammies, right?! Do they make adult stuff, too, or just the kiddos?

Oh my gosh… your girls are sooooo precious!!!
My girls love to dress the same and do so almost everyday. (They are 2 yrs apart.)

Thanks! That’s sweet. I like seeing them get along like that even though they aren’t the same age.
