I have been taking high dose garlic for many years. I have had no colds and flu once in the last 13 years! I take care of people as my job and I spend loads of time outside winter and summer. I also go to Uganda often and cannot take anti malarials. The mosquitoes leave me alone, they don’t like the garlic either and this works for other insects that bite as well!
