With Christmas right around the corner, many of us are looking for good last-minute gifts for family and friends. And what better gift is there than one that also benefits children that are in need? Which brings us to the Soft Toy collection from IKEA. They have partnered with UNICEF and Save the Children and will donate approximately $1.47 for each toy sold until December 24.
As soon as I opened the box from IKEA, I was very impressed with these toys. They are very soft and entertaining, and they caught the attention of my two boys immediately.
(I’ve got to be honest for a second…that shark toy cracks me up. I want one for myself!)
I let the boys, ages 3 and 1, play with the toys for a week, and they weren’t able to cause any damage to them, surprisingly. They are extremely well put together and able to stand up to the limitless energy of two toddlers very well.
Normally, I would list a set of pros and cons for buying these toys, but I am honestly unable to see any reason not to buy these toys for anyone you might be shopping for. And IKEA’s partnership with UNICEF and Save the Children just sweetens the deal.
