One of the things that is deeply embedded in my mind with our second baby, Allison, is worrying she would stop breathing in her sleep. She was an excellent sleeper from the get-go (I wish my 4th baby would take lessons from her!) but every time she would sleep for a long stretch, I was jumping up to be sure she was okay.
My little one sleeping at only 2 days old.
If only I’d had the Levana movement monitor back then. It would have saved me countless trips to her bedroom to check that her little chest was rising. Even though Canaan, my youngest, is now 16 months old, I’m so glad I was able to try out the movement monitor. And hey, now I’ve got a great monitor for next time around!
I love that the monitor is wireless- it simply clips on baby’s diaper and monitors his or her movements. If the babe doesn’t have an abdominal movement for more than 15 seconds, the device will vibrate to stimulate movement. If after 20 seconds there is still no movement, the alarm sounds loudly to alert the parents.
Levana is dedicated to baby safety. They only produce baby monitors so that they can focus on producing the best products on the market- and it shows!
You may have heard of Levana already- they introduced the first hand-held video monitor back in 2002. Their wireless monitor also features a 4.3 inch LCD screen, a long battery life, an easy to use graphical user interface, and best of all? Their monitors can’t be hacked thanks to ClearVu digital wireless technology.
