The cool thing is that homeschoolers can sign up for the if it’s the best fit for you. Especially for co-op class teachers or homeschool group leaders (or larger than average families *ahem*) the Star Teacher program might be the best for you! It is for us with the amount of paper supplies we use.
I LOVE that Office Depot supports teachers – ALL teachers. You know my degree was in music education and theatre arts? When I first married I taught music as a teacher’s assistant for a year before my first baby way born and it was amazing to me how much I purchased myself. For example, our “copy allotment” was used in the first few months, only about one semester into the school year, and after that we purchased our own paper for worksheets or songs. It added up fast, I can tell ya’!
And of course now that I’m homeschooling, I’m purchasing everything myself right from the very start of the year. Thankfully teacher-reward programs help maximize my school budget.
