While it is an exceptionally inexpensive way to make the house more festive for the holidays, it wouldn’t be my FIRST recommendation for cheap Christmas decor.
What happened? We were doing school Friday morning and I had a paper craft kit for the kids. They each got a gingerbread house cut out and several paper candies. Practicing cutting with their scissors and gluing with their glue sticks.
When I left to run and do what pregnant women do, they were happily glue-sticking their candy baubles to the gingerbread house. When I returned from my poddy break they were happily gluing their gingerbread house, candy canes and sugar gum-drop papers TO THE WALL in the living room.
Now I do have to say this for Evan and Brianna, it does have a very festive look to it. Not what I was anticipating doing in the living room, but at least it’s just a little glue stick glue. 😀
