I’m always open to trying new organic bath and body products – especially if I can find one that works well. Sometimes I try to make my own, but with four kids I don’t always have time. I like having premade products available for when I don’t have time to make my own organic shampoos and scrubs. That’s why I was excited to have the opportunity to review the Aloe and Honey line from Organica Pure.
Organic Aloe & Honey Shampoo
I have tried organic shampoos that didn’t work as well, so I was glad when this organic shampoo did. Usually between the outdoor work and swimming with the children my hair becomes brittle and dry. This summer, however, I this the Aloe and Honey Organica Shampoo is helping my hair stay hydrated and healthy – right down to the scalp.
One thing that readers should be aware of is that the scent is not the light, floral scent many shampoos have that you would typically purchase. I tend to find the overly fake floral scent annoying, personally, so this shampoo is a nice change of pace. The fragrance is much deeper and true in my opinion, like the difference between lavender essential oil and rosemary, sandalwood and patchouli.
Organic Aloe & Honey Body Scrub
OrganicaPure organic body scrub also has a similar fragrance and I really like the texture of the scrub. Some of the body scrubs or facial scrubs I’ve used in the past were so gritty that you could hurt your skin or worsen outbreaks from overly-enthusiastic scrubbing. The OrganicaPure scrub has a small, fine grain to it that exfoliates gently.
If you’ve ever been disappointed in an organic bath and body product, I can certainly relate. I was skeptical about the quality of these products, especially since they are both in the $25 range, however I was pleased with the results after testing these products.
This post was a compensated piece and samples sent to my house by OrganicaPure to review for testing purposes.
