When I was asked to review a canvas, I was thrilled! It was perfect timing, since we are redecorating our family room. I sent in a landscape photo I had taken myself while in Colorado, chose a mocha brown for my border and a Bible verse for the caption. The canvas arrived quickly (thanks to the great folks at Chic Canvas and Anna from Bollare) and I was excited to see the finished product. The canvas was soft and thick and the print was of superb quality. I was highly impressed with the clarity of the photo, since my canvas was 16 x 20 inches. The canvas was securely attached and seamlessly pulled over a 1 1/4 inch thick stretcher bar, giving the print beautiful depth.
Options for Your Canvas
The size I received was 16 x 20 inches. Several sizes are available, ranging from a single 8 x 10 inch canvas to 40 x 60 inch five-panel sets.
While the border I chose was a single color, many options are available. Stripes, “candy lace” and solids are available in sleek, modern color combinations that give the canvas a distinct flavor. Chic Canvas can even customize the color of the border by using a hue you’ve chosen from your photo. As a special touch, you can design a caption for the side of the canvas.
Any imperfections in your photo can also be fixed before printing, including red eye, blurry focus, blemishes and even the date stamp. The color of your photo can also be changed to sepia or black and white.
Overall Quality of Chic Canvas Prints
When I hung up my gorgeous print, I was giddy with excitement (picture husband rolling eyes)! The canvas looked wonderful and after studying it by daylight and evening lamp light I was pleased to see that the quality was reflected in all types of lighting. Even my hubby, who isn’t one for artwork, was thoroughly pleased. Overall, my canvas added the perfect touch to our newly designed family room.

I have a terrible experience with ChicCanvas.com and do NOT recommend their services. We ordered three canvases one was perfect, one had a distracting yellow splotch and a border that we did not order or want, and the third was printed horizontally rather than vertically. I have emailed and called numerous times to no avail. ChicCanvas has terrible customer service! Buy elsewhere!
