Here is a quick tip for using Lavender Essential Oil – Brought to you by the Lavender EO Hubpage I recently created.
When I am feeling a little overwhelmed, depressed, or generally “blue” I like to diffuse some lavender essential oil – usually mixed in my “pick me up” essential oil blend.
Ratio Recipe:
10 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil
5 drops Clary Sage essential oil
1 drop Sandalwood essential oil
While sandalwood is not necessarily a mood lifting essential oil for depression, it IS a very centering and balancing essential oil and will add a lot of body to the other oils in this blend.
I like fragrances of the lavenders, too.
But I served as a reference very much because I had not yet compounded it.
