DIY Planner- Fully Customizable
When you purchase a DIY Planner, be prepared to do some printing. Admittedly, this had me a little concerned at first. For reasons unknown to me, it seemed preferable to wait a week for shipping rather than spend an evening printing; I am glad that I chose the latter. Even when purchasing a planner at a store, I am likely to spend as much or more time sorting through the options, comparing the features, scratching my head and even coming back later before deciding on the perfect one.
After a small sum and smooth checkout, the DIY Planner will be yours to download. Be sure that you have a PDF reader and plenty of ink and paper. This is where the fun begins! With print preview, you can scan each page of the planner to see just what you’ll need. To cut down on time, I only printed six months in one setting. Whenever I need more, I can simply go back to the document and print what I need.
GO MOM!® – Something for Everyone
Founder Molly Gold envisioned a planning solution for all moms over ten years ago, and the DIY Planner realizes that goal. From work at home moms to stay at home moms to moms working outside of the home, homeschoolers to public schoolers, young children, older children and everyone in between, every mom has her own unique set of needs. The DIY Planner is more than just a calendar.
While the School Contacts and Child Contacts were not necessary for my young family, I did enjoy printing the exact number of Menu Minder Worksheets and Grocery Lists that we would use. After much brainstorming, the only thing that I found to be missing is a budget sheet. Fortunately, at ten dollars for the download and as much or as little as you’d like to spend on a binder, you don’t need to look at your budget long before making this purchase.
Some Assembly Required
Because the DIY Planner goes in the folder or binder of your choice, you can assemble it in any order. Where other planners become cluttered with add-ins, the DIY Planner is simple to arrange and rearrange.
One perceived drawback is the assembly required. This could mean a quick trip to Kinko’s or the purchase of a 3-hole punch, but I was able to use a single punch without much complaint. Additionally, because this goes into a binder, it is not necessarily the planner to carry in your purse (unless you have a really big purse). But, printing flexibility means that you can print whatever you might need on-the-go separately, leaving your main planner for the desk or car.
GO MOM!® DIY Planner is One of a Kind
If you are looking for a five dollar pocket calendar, this is not for you. However, if you need to keep your busy world together without spending a fortune or juggling multiple schedulers, GO MOM!® DIY Planner is the first step to an organized life.

I bought one after reading Brannan’s review and am still using it. I know she’s planning some exciting things moving forward as well. Definitely buying the 2011 edition as well. 🙂
