Got gift cards? Chances are, if you celebrated for the holidays, you have a few lying around your house. It seems as though every time I receive a gift card, receipt or store credit, it ends up somewhere in the abyss that is my purse. That’s where the Card Cubby comes in—an ingenious little organizer that corrals all your gift cards, credit cards and even your phone, keeping everything in one easy place.
The Look of the Card Cubby
After being contacted by Dawn from Out of the Blue Delivered, I chose my Card Cubby in hot pink and was very impressed with its shiny appearance and smooth finish. It comes in several colors, including a zebra print! It opened and closed nicely and inside were small pink alphabetical dividers and some tiny note cards. There was even a little pocket inside for change! The outside of the Card Cubby featured a clear pocket which was a perfect place for my driver’s license. It was also easy to clean: after my daughter wrote on it with a pen, I wiped it clean with a damp washcloth.
Versatility of the Card Cubby
Noticing the versatility of the Card Cubby, I used it for several different purposes. First I jammed it full with everything from my wallet, including gift cards, credit cards, store cards and coupons. It was amazing how much I fit into my new little organizer–and it still closed! Next, I simply used it for a quick trip to Target, bringing my driver’s license, coupons, credit card and cell phone. It was great to have such a small, handy organizer that saved me from digging in my purse for the things I needed.
On a whim one afternoon, I slipped in some used gift cards and old store cards and gave it to my daughter. She loved taking the cards in and out and managed to keep the dividers mostly in alphabetical order. I didn’t know it could be such a fun distraction for my 19 month old! Finally, I simply put my gift cards back in and slipped it into my purse. The great thing about the Card Cubby is that it can be used in any way you want, whether for reward cards, business cards or even an IPod. It can be carried in your purse or diaper bag or just used as a stand-alone mini purse.
