In the south, we call this “dressing”… and it’s considered a side, not a bread… lol
Either way, this recipe sounds good!
Corn BREAD. What part of bread is not bread? 😉
But yes, we call it dressing too. hehehehehe
I’ve never made a cornbread stuffing, probably because I have a hard time staying out of the cornbread. Maybe this is the year to try something different and try some willpower. 😉
It looks totally worth it, doesn’t it!?
I’ve always made cornbread stuffing, but using Pepperidge Farm bread crumbs as my starter. Will try your homeade version this year for Thanksgiving! Thank you for the recipe!! Couple of things I add to my dressing that I love (got this from my sister) is one small package of slivered almonds and one can water chestnuts, chopped, yum!
Stuffing is an easy item to try moving away from the box mix. This recipe from Colleen looks pretty straightforward. Love the idea of adding slivered almonds!
